It has done so outside India in LSE. UK Chancellor Philip Hammond described the landmark listing by HDFC as a major vote of confidence in London. HDFC is the first company to issue a bond of this type, which raised Rs 30 bn, equivalent to around $450 mn. It has a maturity of three years and an annual yield of 8.33% and was more than four times oversubscribed.
